Nocturnal Rites - Shadowland (Live)

A destiny, the final key
The dream has come alive!

This song even has some yodelling and purring towards the end.

Gary Jules - Mad World

Cool video.

It's nearly halloween... four years ago, Roospy dressed up as Donnie Darko, and this is from the soundtrack. That's about as good a link as any!

Del Amitri - Don't Come Home Too Soon

While looking for Nothing Ever Happens yesterday, I came across this, and it took me back to France '98. Well, not literally, but y'know...

Anyway, this is probably the most depressing football song of all time. Enjoy!

Since it's F1 weekend, here's something that should ring a bell.

Flobots - Handlebars

Tony's been driving me mad singing this, but it's actually a cool song, and they're from Denver too.

D.R.I. - Acid Rain

Dirty Rotten Imbeciles with some early 90s "crossover thrash". This video was featured on Beavis and Butthead back in the day, and the band's been touring on the back of their 1995 album Full Speed Ahead for... well, thirteen years.

Recently on hiatus due to guitarist Spike Cassidy's battle with cancer, DRI should be back on the road fairly soon. Apologies for the Spanish subtitles, it's the only decent quality version.

Radiohead - High and Dry

From YouTube:

"Many people will be watching this performance with a great sense of nostalgia and awe of the bends period back in the mid 90's whether its the innovative music videos, the unique atmosphere of this album ..the bends was mostly ignored after its initial release and instead overtime has slowly developed a following ..

even if you miss this particular era of the bands sound, its hard not to admire them for continuously trying to create new worlds of sound on each album which creates excitement and anticipation, their albums are usually a reaction to the music they are listening to at the time, and back then, magazine, jeff & Tim buckley, scott walker, sonic youth, queen, the smiths, the beatles were major influences on the band, this is an album you play anytime and it still sounds fresh and bald, it was voted by Time Magazine as the 2nd greatest Album ever made .. ..

Radiohead played high and dry & the bends on jools holland in 1995 alongside Elvis Costello & artists such as Chris Isaak and a brilliant raggae group named Lucky Dube."
